About these terms

These terms apply to every game and app published by Perfect Dimension Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07946414), registered office 34 Chyngton Way, Seaford, BN25 4JB, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”), and to this website.

Our apps are licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add the details specific to us. If they conflict, Apple's agreement governs the licence of the app. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

Some apps have extra terms of their own; they're below, and they apply as well when you use that app.

Purchases and subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple at the price shown in the App Store for your country. Apple handles refunds under its own policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Coins, dots and other in-game currencies and items are a licence to use them in that game. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged or transferred, and may be lost if you delete the game, because progress is stored on your device.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period you paid for. Deleting an app doesn't cancel a subscription.

Using our apps

Our apps are for personal, non-commercial use. Don't try to access other people's data, break our security, overload our services, or copy, modify or reverse-engineer our apps beyond what the law allows.

The apps, their names and logos, characters, artwork, music, recordings and this website belong to us or our licensors.

Intervals

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google; keep that account secure. One account is for one person, and you're responsible for activity under it. You can deactivate or delete your account in the app at any time.

Free and Premium

Always free: free runs, cue-only templates, basic coach voice packs, custom workouts and plans you build, sharing, iPhone and standalone Apple Watch use, history, shoes and basic stats. Premium unlocks recorded coaching, all built-in plans and advanced stats. It's an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, sold and billed by Apple at the price shown in the App Store for your country.

Eligible new subscribers can start with a 14-day free trial; Apple decides eligibility. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you're charged the price you chose. Subscriptions renew until you cancel in your Apple account settings; access continues to the end of the paid period. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription. If your account unlocked free coached content under an earlier version, you keep it.

We may change what's in free or Premium, but we won't take away Premium features you've paid for during a current subscription period.

Health and safety

Intervals is for general fitness. It is not a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Coaching cues are general guidance, not personal medical or training advice.

• Check with a doctor before starting a new exercise programme, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant or are returning from injury.
• Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath beyond normal effort.
• Stay aware of your surroundings and traffic, and keep audio low enough to hear what's around you.
• GPS distance, pace and heart-rate readings are estimates and can be inaccurate.

Shared workouts

You own the workouts, notes, scripts and audio you create, and give us permission to store and deliver them to provide Intervals to you and to people you share them with. A shared link can be opened by anyone who has it, and people who import a workout keep their copy. Only share content you have the right to share. Don't share unlawful, hateful, infringing or harmful content; we may disable links or accounts that do.

Coaches

Hope, Chris, Charlie, Alice and the other coach and guest characters are fictional. They aren't real athletes, and Intervals isn't a live human coaching service. Don't copy, resell or redistribute the recorded coaching library or coach packs.

Availability and changes

We work to keep our apps running well, but can't promise they'll always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or retire features and apps. We'll update these terms when needed and change the date at the top; if a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or on this site.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for loss of data you could reasonably have protected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or elsewhere in the UK or EU, you can also bring proceedings where you live, and you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
