What our apps, games and this website collect, why, where it goes and how to delete it.
Last updated 30 October 2026
Summary
- Our games and most of our apps collect nothing about you. Progress and settings stay on your device.
- No advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking, and we don't sell personal data.
- Apple handles every payment. We never see your card details.
- Intervals is the exception: it has accounts and records runs, routes and heart rate. Its section explains exactly what and why.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Support messages are emailed to us, not stored by the site.
Who we are
Perfect Dimension Studios makes the games and apps listed on this site. They're published by Perfect Dimension Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07946414), registered office 34 Chyngton Way, Seaford, BN25 4JB, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of personal data processed by our apps and this website.
Questions about privacy: email support@perfectdimension.studio or use the contact form on our support page and choose “Privacy or a data request”.
In-app purchases
Purchases in our apps are sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and billing under its own privacy policy. Apps receive only what they need to deliver a purchase: the product, the transaction and whether it's valid. We never receive your card or payment details.
Save the Pencil and Save the Pencil HD
Neither game needs an account, and neither includes advertising, third-party analytics or tracking. We don't receive your gameplay, location, contacts, advertising identifier or device activity.
Level progress, stars, blue-dot balances, purchases already credited and settings such as sound are stored on your device and used only to run the game. Deleting the game deletes them.
Optional purchases of blue dots are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles payment and billing under its own privacy policy. The game receives only the product and transaction confirmation it needs to deliver the purchase and not credit it twice. We never receive your card details.
Save the Pencil 2
Save the Pencil 2 needs no account and includes no advertising, analytics or tracking. We don't receive your gameplay, location, contacts, advertising identifier or device activity.
Progress, stars, best times, coins, unlocked pencils and settings are stored on your device and used only to run the game. Deleting the game deletes them.
Optional purchases of coin packs and the triple-coin upgrade are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles payment and billing under its own privacy policy. The game receives only the product and transaction confirmation it needs to deliver the purchase and not credit it twice. We never receive your card details.
Intervals
Intervals is different from our other apps: it has accounts, and it records runs, routes and heart rate. This section covers what it collects and why.
Account and sign-in
You sign in with Apple or Google; we never create or see a password. Your name, email (if given), sign-in provider and provider ID are kept in the iOS Keychain on your iPhone. Our servers store an account identifier derived from your provider ID, not your name or email. If you join a pre-release testing programme we may keep your email on a tester list.
Profile, shoes and settings
These sync to your account so they follow you to a new device: an optional runner profile (name, location, short bio and a photo you pick with the iOS photo picker, stored as a small thumbnail), your shoes, and app settings such as coach, cues, splits, haptics, Watch fields and reminders.
Runs, location and health
With your permission, Intervals uses your location while you record a workout (“While Using the App”, never “Always”), and motion data, to measure route and distance. Recording continues while the screen is locked.
Apple Health access is optional and you choose the types. Intervals writes completed runs as workouts (route, heart rate, distance and active energy). It reads the same types plus running speed, and, read-only, VO2 max, heart-rate recovery, resting heart rate and heart-rate variability to show trends. Health trends stay on your device.
When you finish a run it's saved to your account: the summary (workout, times, distance, pace, splits, heart rate, energy, shoe, device), your EASY, OK or HARD check-in and note, and detailed records: the full GPS route, heart-rate samples during and for about two minutes after the run, distance and energy samples, and pauses. Watch-only runs sync through your iPhone; the Watch app never contacts our servers directly.
We use health and location data only to provide Intervals' features to you. We never use it for advertising or marketing, never sell it and never share it with data brokers. Intervals is not a medical device.
Workouts, plans, audio and shared links
Custom workouts (title, author name, notes, intervals, cues, script text and attached audio) and plans sync to your account; audio is kept in private storage. Coach packs download through links that expire within minutes.
Sharing a workout creates a copy of it at a public link that anyone can open without signing in. It never includes your runs, routes, health data, profile or photo. Links stop working while your account is deactivated and are removed if you delete it. Sharing the same workout again updates its link. You can see and remove your links in Settings › Shared links; deleting a workout doesn't remove its link. Audio from Intervals' own coached workouts can't be shared. Anyone can report a shared workout from its page, and we may disable a link that breaks the law or our rules.
Subscriptions
Premium is sold through the App Store and Apple takes payment; we never receive card details. To connect a purchase to your account we store a random purchase token, a one-way hash of your account identifier, transaction IDs, subscription status, expiry, renewal, trial and grace-period details, and Apple's notifications about the subscription. We keep these after account deletion so a subscription you still pay for can be restored, and to handle refunds and disputes. They contain no run, health or profile data.
Notifications
Run reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. If you allow push notifications while signed in, we store your device's push token, an installation ID, your notification choices, time zone and reminder time, and a record of each push and whether you opened it. We don't send pushes between 22:00 and 07:00 your time, or more than one every 20 hours.
Coach voices
Coach voices are pre-recorded. Nothing you write or record is sent to a voice provider.
Crash and performance reports
When iOS gives the app a crash, hang or performance report (through Apple's MetricKit), the app sends it to us without your account or any identifier: the report itself, which describes where in the app's code a problem happened, plus the app version, iOS version and device model. It contains no run, location, health or profile data. We use these reports only to fix problems and keep them for 30 days.
What Intervals doesn't collect
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking
- Third-party analytics or crash-reporting services
- Microphone, camera, contacts or photo-library access
- Date of birth, weight, height or sex
The app also keeps a small workout diagnostics log on your device. It is uploaded only if you export and send it to us.
Legal bases (UK and EU)
- Your account, runs, sync, workouts, plans, settings and suggestions: performing our contract with you
- Health data and heart-rate and route records: your explicit consent, given through iOS permissions and by recording runs; withdraw it in iOS settings
- Premium and subscription records: contract, legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in restoring paid access and handling disputes
- Push notifications: your consent
- Anonymous crash and performance reports: legitimate interests in keeping the app reliable
- Security, abuse prevention and keeping the service running: legitimate interests
Providers
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, Apple Health on your device, App Store purchases and push notifications
- Google: Google Sign-In, if you choose it
- Convex: database and backend for your account, runs, workouts, plans, settings, subscriptions, notifications and anonymous crash reports
- Cloudflare (R2): private storage for coach audio and audio attached to your workouts
- ElevenLabs: producing the built-in coach recordings. No user data is sent.
Keeping and deleting your data
In the app, under Settings › Your account, you can deactivate your account (data kept, links paused, sign in to reactivate) or permanently delete it. Deletion closes access straight away, then removes runs and detailed records, workouts, plans, settings, profile, shared links, stored audio, push registrations and notification history in background batches. If you signed in with Google, the app disconnects Google access. If you signed in with Apple, you can also remove Intervals under Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings.
After deletion we keep only the subscription records above, anonymous push installation records, and a one-way hash of the account identifier, so deletion can complete and a new sign-up starts with an empty account. Our database provider's backups expire on their own schedule. Records in Apple Health stay in Apple Health, and copies of shared workouts other people imported stay with them.
Health access: Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Intervals. Location: Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › Intervals.
Convertizo
Convertizo needs no account and includes no advertising, analytics or tracking. We don't collect your conversion values, location, contacts, advertising identifier or device activity.
Your last value and unit choices in each category are stored on your device so the app can restore them. Cached currency rates and their date are stored too, so currency conversion works offline. Deleting the app deletes them.
To get exchange rates, Convertizo downloads a public daily file directly from the European Central Bank. The request doesn't include your values or currencies. The ECB and network providers may process standard connection information, such as your IP address, under their own policies; we don't receive it.
Support requests
If you use our contact form, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, the app and topic you choose, any device details you add and your message. If you email us, we receive your address and what you write.
The website doesn't store form messages: they go straight to our mailbox through Resend, our email delivery provider. We use them only to reply and deal with your request, and keep them as long as that request and any follow-up need. Please don't include card details or other sensitive information we don't need.
This website
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising. Vercel, our host, necessarily processes standard request information, such as your IP address, browser and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Children
Our games don't ask anyone for personal information, and none of our apps ask for your age. A parent or guardian should send any support request about a child and include only what's needed. If you think a child has given us personal data without a parent's involvement, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us and we'll reply within the time the law requires; we may need to confirm the request comes from you.
If you're in the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, to your local data protection authority. We'd appreciate the chance to help first.
Changes
We update this policy when an app or our practices change, and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we'll tell you in the app or on this site before it applies.
